Fungal Disease
It is caused by Monillia or Candida fungi, which can be found on many people’s
skin.
Clinical manifestations
Women have intense itching, skin irritation and abnormal vaginal discharge (thick, white and
odourless). Men have small wheals on the skin and itching.
Treatment: Special creams (and vaginal suppositories for women).
Fungal disease can also spread without sexual intercourse.
